Utility Undergrounding on Almont Dr + La Peer Dr
Project Phase: Phase 2B - Undergrounding (Almont + La Peer)

WORK ACTIVITIES & SCHEDULE:
Construction activities including asphalt sawcutting, demolition, potholing, and plating will take place in the roadway between the addresses of 632 and 648 N Almont Dr. Traffic control cones will extend from 614 to 648 N Almont Dr. to identify the construction area, maintain safety, and guide vehicles.
CONSTRUCTION DATE & TIME:
- Monday, July 1, to Wednesday, July 3, 2024 8:00AM – 5:00PM
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Construction crew and equipment on site.
- Moderate noise from machinery.
TRAFFIC FLOW:
- Traffic will continue to flow north and south on N Almont Dr. with one lane in each direction.
- Left and right turns onto/from Santa Monica Blvd. will be permitted.
TRAFFIC CONES:
- Cones will be placed around the construction zone to identify the construction area, maintain safety, and guide vehicles.
DRIVEWAYS:
- Driveways inside the traffic control (cone) zone will remain open and accessible.
- Driveways inside the construction zone will be granted access by crew as necessary.
- Crew will be onsite to guide vehicles into and out of driveways in the construction zone.
PARKING:
- Parking shall be temporarily removed at some parking meters to provide access to the work zone.
- Specific date and time of parking removals will be posted on each individual meter.
Please be aware that construction is a dynamic process and adjustments may occur to ensure efficiency and safety.
