Work to remove and replace deficient roadway on Melrose Ave between Westbourne Dr and Private Drive
(PDC) will take place on Thursday and Friday, October 26 & 27, 2023. This work is being expedited in
conjunction with pre-existing LADWP closures on Huntley Dr. and to ensure it aligns with the final paving
operation slated for early November.

We recommend considering alternative routes during this construction period to avoid potential delays.
Work activities includes:
• Parking removals in the construction zone
• Traffic lane reductions
• Flagman-controlled one-way traffic in east and west directions

• Huntley intersection closure on Oct. 26, 2023
• Westbourne intersection on Oct. 27, 2023
• Pedestrian access will remain open
