In Roadway Warning Light Installation

Work to install the In Roadway Warning Light (IRWL) system at the three unsignalized intersections on Melrose Ave including Westbourne Dr., Westmount Dr., and W Knoll Dr. will begin on Monday, December 4, 2023. Work includes saw-cutting (noise) and lane reductions with one-way traffic between 9:00am – 4:00pm for approximately four days.

To maintain safety, pedestrians will be detoured to adjacent crosswalk (east or west) of active construction. Construction vehicles may utilize adjacent parking spaces to transport materials and equipment as necessary.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Traffic lane reductions. One-way traffic with flaggers.
• Pedestrian detours (to east or west crosswalk) with maintained business access
• Intermittent sawcutting (noise)
